Couldn't find anything on this. Is there some reason we are unable to change the Link ID? Like we can for staticpages and stories so that instead of

Just the usual: Nobody has bothered to implement it yet. But it seems you can edit them in the CVS version already ...

Okay, so what you are saying is that it is done on the CVS version, what do I need to do? I haven't done anything withe the CVS.

Wait for the release ...

You could grap the nightly tarball if you're desperate, but CVS is not in a state that I would recommend it for any "live" sites unless you know what you're doing.

I see where the changes were made to portal.php and links.php. I think however I need to wait for the next release. Any plans for a new update?
