After months of development, I am pleased to offer the new version of the theme PurePro that is used on many sites francophones:

* corab.fr
* Ecologie-pratique.org
* le-cordiste.com
* surgeres.org

This version consists of a basic theme: PurePro Base, you can customize using the online interface: the PureProTheme Maker

This interface allows you to download additional options available or create your own then share with other users.

Download PurePro Base 1.7.2

View and download all available themes

Hey Cordiste,

I must be blind, I was able to create a new theme but I can't see a link that will allow me to edit it.

Could it be a cache issue? What was your browser?

I see 2 themes created by you.

Theme 23
Theme 24

I did click the create a theme button and I do see the 2 themes that I made but I did not edit them. They are just the defaults. How do you modify the colors, fonts, etc.?

I don't think it is a cache issue because I tried it in IE8 and then I logged in with Firefox and still couldn't find a way to edit things.

Did you find the link to edit your theme? The link is on the theme number in the left column
Did you get an error message ?

It now says edit by the number (I had clicked on the number before and nothing really changed). I clicked on this and it brought me to a page that lists the Typography Styles, H tags, story example, etc.. and on the bottom of the page it says

Oups.. You can't edit this theme.

I also now have Javascript errors on both pages.

Hope this helps

Thanks,

It works now. Big Grin

Do you plan to offer Geeklog 1.8.0 support for Purepro when it comes out?

Yes. The idea behind the purepro theme make is to allow Geeklog's users to easily upgrade their custom themes.
I will need to upgrade only one theme, the purepro base.
And when purepro base 1.8.0 will be ready, all available themes will be automatically updated. :banana:

Hey Ben,

Let me know if you need help with any of the new changes for themes with Geeklog 1.8.0. There is also a new scripts class in Geeklog that takes over handling Javascript and jQuery and also allows you to specify any css files. I have started a Wiki page (that I have to finishe) to detail the new feature.

Also with the Purepro theme. I downloaded the base theme fine but I get a corrupted file problem when I attempt to uncompress any of themes I have made (or others have made).

Hey Ben,

I tried unzipping the file again that I downloaded from Purepro using both Winrar and 7-Zip and I get notified of a corrupted file by Winrar and 7-Zip extracts one useless file . Do you have the same problem?

Hmm,

I just tried downloading the file in Firefox and it works fine but when I download it in IE 8 or 9 WinRar cannot open the file.

Weird

Hi Tom,

Thank you for the feedback. I changed the code, but each theme owner need to edit their theme to create a new archive.
I have created one here, please tell me if you can download it and open it.

Thanks,

Ben

The same problem still happens. Frown

Your link in Firefox produces a file I can uncompress but in IE 9 I get a corrupted message.

I am not sure of your setup (and you probably have already done this) but googling "php create zip corrupted in IE not Firefox" returned a few possible answers.

Hey Ben,

I am getting the message

"The security token for this operation has expired. Please authenticate again to continue."

when I try to update my blocks when I am using the purepro theme under Firefox only. The blocks also do not save if I enter the correct information.

All works fine under IE 9 though...

Not sure what is happening here.

I am having the same problem with Chrome, not yet checked other browsers though
Not only blocks, every updates of configuration etc with purepro theme leads to the same symptom.

The thing with the Chrome issue is that it happens with any theme as far as I can tell. I did add in a bug report for it.

Guess this is an issue for 1.8.0.

My site is 1.7.2 and no this issue happens for ProfessionalCSS theme & Professional theme with Chrome.
I was thinking if my issue could be a conflict of javascript.......
