Chars problem in adv. editor

Hey all,
I have the following problem:
I turned on the advanced editor for staticpages and certain chars are not displaying properly (ÄŒ, Ć and Ä)
Details:
- GL latest version
- chars set in config.php: slovenian_utf8
- header.thtml is also set to utf8.
What am I missing, please?
Thank you!
m.

Its ok, I found the solution myself.
I changed charset and collation in mySQL from latin1 and latin_general_ci to utf8 and utf8_slovenian_ci.
That did the trick.
Hmm.
I wonder why GL installation is not set to utf8 in the first place.
Anyway, thank you all.
Happy holidays!

That's a big headache for upgrades. It's been discussed a lot but there's no simple solution. I wonder why GL installation is not set to utf8 in the first place.
