Restricting Story Submission

I would like to restrict Story Submission to a certain group. However, the groups that do not have the right "Story.submit" can still submit their stories for review. How can I change this?

You can't. Geeklog's policy is that if you can see a topic, you can submit a story for that topic.
What you could to is hide the "contribute" link from users that don't have story.submit rights. That wouldn't stop anyone who knows the right URL, of course.

This is a frequent request. Is there any chance of adding such a feature to the GL core?
