Hey guys! I installed Geeklog today for a writing portion of my site and I absolutely LOVE it. I was using NewsPro (which is seriously lacking in features and flexibility), so this was a lifesaver. :-) At any rate, I have two questions. 1.) When I bring all the old content over to GL, is there ANY way to back-date the stories? I have some going back to 2000, and although I'd love to bring the old stuff in, I don't want it to seem like it's "new". 2.) Since I am going to add old content and I'm going to have to register the members who submitted it, can someone tell me the file I need to hack to change the outgoing email message with Geeklog Account Information? I need to explain what I'm doing temporarily while adding new people, so they don't wonder what the hell they signed up for. :-) Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

  1. See this story.
  2. When you add users from the Admin's User Editor, no email is sent out.

bye, Dirk

Oh damn, I looked everywhere for a previous post on that! Sorry I missed it. Thank you. :-)
