Hey guys! I installed Geeklog today for a writing portion of my site and I absolutely LOVE it. I was using NewsPro (which is seriously lacking in features and flexibility), so this was a lifesaver. :-)
At any rate, I have two questions.
1.) When I bring all the old content over to GL, is there ANY way to back-date the stories? I have some going back to 2000, and although I'd love to bring the old stuff in, I don't want it to seem like it's "new".
2.) Since I am going to add old content and I'm going to have to register the members who submitted it, can someone tell me the file I need to hack to change the outgoing email message with Geeklog Account Information? I need to explain what I'm doing temporarily while adding new people, so they don't wonder what the hell they signed up for. :-)
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

- See this story[*1] .
- When you add users from the Admin's User Editor, no email is sent out.
bye, Dirk

Oh damn, I looked everywhere for a previous post on that! Sorry I missed it. Thank you. :-)
