Moving Site Question, Not Migrating

I have installed the newest Geeklog under it's own directory in the document root directory of my site, as we currently have our old site there and running. We've done this to be able to set up the new site, configure it and populate it before going replacing our current site.
At that point, we would like to remove our old site files and directories and then move Geeklog out of it's directory down to the document root directory. Is this possible, and if so, what files and/or database entries would need to be changed to make this work?
Thank you.

1000ideen is right. Just run the geeklog install when you have moved it to the new directory again and choose migrate. The only thing you would be changing really is the option for the path.

Thanks guys. Just one question yet.
You mention that just the path is changed. Can I just make that change in the database itself, or does the migrate function also perform other changes that I can't do by hand?
Just curious.

You could just change the path in the database (there are a few spots) but the Migrate Script will also scan stories, etc.. and change any paths to image files etc... (I believe)

Thanks Tom, I'll use the migrate function so that I'm sure I get everything.
Really appreciate the help.
