Advanced Post mode gone...

Yes I have Configuration > Stories & Submissions > Submission settings set to Avanced Text Editor = True...
Where has it gone has anyone seen it ?

Yes it's just not there...
It is there and first indication is it is fine....Just looking with sequel pro,

When you call up an editor, can you check the HTML (in your browser) to see if the dropdown is there in the HTML but not displayed for some reason?

The problem with the Advanced Editor is that you disabled it for your account. Check My Account -> Layout & Language > Use Advanced Editor
That's a new option in 1.7.0 and it should be enabled by default. There's a bug in 1.7.0, though, that disables that user option when you change your account settings before you enable FCKeditor. I guess that's what happened here.

Okay, after looking at your site I think there has been a misunderstanding. The standard post modes (HTML Formatted, Plain Old Text) are still there - you're only missing the Advanced Editor option. I thought they were all gone!
