Geeklog Forums

I notice the Geeklog php files seem all to be compacted so that whitespace is removed from them. When you open them in notepad, you get a hodgepodge of code. How did the files get like this? (How do I re-compact the files?)

I would think compacting the files would give a bit of a performance boost. Is this true?

They aren't compacted. They are in Unix format. Notepad does not know how to properly display Unix formatted files. Try WordPad. Or download a better text editor from sourceforge.net.
