i have posted it earlier also but didn't found a solution.

ihave problem with the alpha transparency of my site logo, which doesn't works in IE but is fine in FIREFOX.

IS there any simple way through which i can upload a gif image as my site logo not a png??????

plz anyone help with complete solution.

IE 6 and earlier do not support alpha transparency in PNGs (IE 7 does). There are JavaScript workarounds for that - try Google.

GIFs don't support alpha transparency, only "normal" transparency. You would have to use a graphics application that can convert one into the other if you want to go that way.

if you convert the png file to 8bit IE 6 will handle the transparency
