Ok, im in the process of upgrading from geeklog 1.3.11 to the new 1.4.0sr5-1...

I was able to go to the install page and select upgrade and it said it was successful... Now when I go to my main geeklog page, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/downtown/public_html/lib-common.php on line 2495

Whats odd is that line 2495 is a blank line... see here:

2489 while (list($key, $val) = each($link_array))
2490 {
2491 $retval .= "$val\n";
2492 }
2493 $retval .= COM_endBlock( COM_getBlockTemplate2494( 'admin_block', 'footer' ));
2494 }
2495
2496 return $retval;
2497}

Im completely lost and missing my site that has been down all day Sad can anyone be of assistance?

Assuming that extra "2494" in the middle of line 2493 is not there in your actual copy of lib-common.php ...

The actual error may be somewhere further up in the code. Try using a fresh copy of lib-common.php, possibly using another editor this time.

bye, Dirk

Right... that extra 2494 on line 2493 is not in the code... Just my typo...

I did actually try a fresh copy of lib-common.php using crimson editor to make the necessary changes...

Unfortunately, I am still receiving the same error... Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
