Need to change calendar "states" values to Canadian Provinces

Hi there. My Canadian client's website is on a linux server hosted by GoDaddy. I need to change the $_states values to canadian provinces OR I would be happy to just have a text form box where you enter location. Not sure where these values "live" and if I can change without too much hassle/errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The states are listed at the end of config.php.
