I have a few related questions that I couldn't find in the Forums. I'm running version 1.3.9sr1 and I'm trying to have comments moderated before they're posted. Is there a way to do this?
Also I'd like to have all the posts of logged in users moderated also, at least for a while but I can't modify the rights of Logged-In users since it's a core group. Is there a way around this?

No.

Posts by non-admin users are moderated by default anyway.
