Is there a way to modify what base menu items show up on the menu bar under the logo? I don't want Past Polls to show up anymore and was wondering how I would be able to go about removing that temp, without messing something up. Thanks.

Look in your config.php for the section $_CONF['menu_elements'] = array

Comment out what you don't want to show up. For example, change

to

and the polls won't show in the menu.

Or, remove {menu_elements} from your theme's header.thtml and hard code al the links instead.
