Upgraded but version check doesn't show it

I just did the upgrade to .11 but my version test still shows .10. How does it determine which version I am using? Could it be in error? It seems like it must be since I copied all the files from the .11 archive into my installation, and ran the db upgrade. The only thing I left alone was config.php.

(I did try changing the file ID line in config.php but that didn't change the reported version.)

the version is "defined" in config.php. not at the id line. check line 700 ish

did you replace the file?

ah ha. i did not replace config.php because the upgrade notes indicated that there were no changes to it. I just didn't look far enough for the version info. Thanks!
