just upgradet to 1.3.10_rc2, everythings fine with the old stuff Big Celebration

now i wanted to use custom links by adding 'menu_elements' to my header.thtml and as soon as i turn it on in config.php by removing the comment-tags before

'custom' // for custom links (see lib-custom.php)

i get this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in c:/mysite/config.php on line 210

this happens with the lib-custom.php from the installation, but also if i remove the sample menu elements, i get the same error.

please Can someone help me

you need to put a comma after the entry on line 209. compare the other lines in that array. all uncommented items must end with a comma except for the last entry.

line 209 was the last entry before you uncommented line 210.. so you need to adjust that and all will be well

hope that helps.

I uncommented the custom line in the config.php file, but I can't get any custom links to show. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I'm sure it's just something stupid, but thought I'd ask before I go messing something else up.

Uncommenting that line doesn't do anything at first. You also need a function CUSTOM_menuEntries in your lib-custom.php that actually returns the entries.

There's a sample CUSTOM_menuEntries function in the default lib-custom.php, but it's also commented out.

bye, Dirk

Doh! - that was a mistake D'oh... ok I need a break now. Thank you for reminding me that it's the little things in the code that matter most.
