Hello!
I'm having troubles to insert images into my stories.
I use the tag [image1] and the pic is uploaded to the site, but I get every time that I did not use image in my text. but I did .... and in the text I see [image1], it's like Gekklog don't know how to parse this tag ...
Any help?
thanx.

You mean this?
$_CONF['language'] = 'russian';
$_CONF['locale'] = 'en-gb';
$_CONF['language'] = 'russian';
$_CONF['locale'] = 'en-gb';

Silly question, maybe, but are you saving the articles as HTML and not plain text?

Doesn't seem to make a difference either way.
Following these directions for installation, I made the GeekLog directory a totally separate directory than my actual site directory.
So I guess I kinda expect that the article images would be stored in the site directory, much like the topic icons. Only they appear to be uploaded in the GeekLog directory instead... Which seems weird.

The word "image" is in the language file, therefore some of the translators decided to translate it as well.
This will be fixed in 1.3.10, where it will be using "image" in all languages.
bye, Dirk

Which is where they normally go, unless you changed the $_CONF['path_images'] variable.

A-ha! I had a problem that things were going where I told them to!
Thanks!
