Have there been any further development for the Geeklog Links section? I would love to be able to add a plugin that would allow me to have certain links displayed as an actual icon. So some links can stand out over other text links.

anyone got anything like that?

I've made the Glinks plugin, which is basically the links section turned into a plugin. It has all the features of the links section, plus hierarchical categories.

If you would like a feature added, drop a note in the bugtracker/feature request manager on my site, or put a detailed description of what you want here and I'll see what I can do.
