Block Title Limit

Is there any way to increase the size limit of a block title? I believe the current limit is around 40 characters. If I go over that, the block title is truncated and the HTML is messed up.

It's 48 characters. You could certainly change that (in the database and in the admin/block/blockeditor.thtml template file) if you really need more than that.

Not sure what you mean by "the HTML is messed up", though. If the title is truncated, how would that mess up anything?

I'm actually embedding HTML in the block titles so that I can use images for the titles. There's probably a cleaner way of doing this ... Thanks for the help.
