How to insert new topics

Hi to all,
i'm new to geeklog (fantastic tool!!!) and i set up a site but i don't understand how to create new topics (for article and for links).
It will be surely simple but i can't find it.

Log in as the Admin and from the Admins Only block, select "Topics", then "New Topic" ...

I have done as you says but every time i get an error "Please insert ID Topic and Name Topic" even if i insert correctly it.
