i'm getting the following errors

Warning: main(nt/host-users/b/i/g/biggyp/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mnt/host-users/b/i/g/biggyp/lib-common.php on line 69

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'nt/host-users/b/i/g/biggyp/config.php' (include_path='.:/opt/lib/php') in /mnt/host-users/b/i/g/biggyp/lib-common.php on line 69

i'm not at all sure why it's 'nt/ as oppposed to the correct '/mnt/

any ideas? i have succesfully installed on a different host in the past.

i've now scrubbed that installation and reinstalled, but i'm getting this error now

Warning: main(/path/to/geeklog/config.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /mnt/host-users/b/i/g/biggyp/esj/public_html/lib-common.php on line 69

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/path/to/geeklog/config.php' (include_path='.:/opt/lib/php') in /mnt/host-users/b/i/g/biggyp/esj/public_html/lib-common.php on line 69

any ideas, i don't think i can change the include path.

If it really says "/path/to/geeklog" there, then you forgot to change a path (probably the one in lib-common.php). Once you've fixed your paths, the open_basedir error messages should go away.
