Strange front page story problem

I don't know what's going on. I use right blocks, and of course left blocks. On the main front page, my stories all flow between the two sides, except for now any story I try to create, no matter if text or HTML, eliminates the right blocks and pushes them down below that story. Anybody see this before? http://kenoshaonline.net

Thanks,

John

Now this is strange. I called a couple of Mozilla (Netscape) users and yes, it looks right to them. The top story sits between the right and left blocks. IE the top 2 stories take up the center and right block space, and the right blocks resume at the 3rd story. Incidentally, this problem is theme-independent, so I'm not sure where to look for a fix.

Looks fine on IE 6.. You could have a problem with using percentages and pixel widths. IE has some problems with mixing the two.

Yuck. The problem went away after a week when I removed a story way down in the middle of the page. It doesn\'t help me to know what happened. This does ask the question tho, which is better, to set font size in pixels or points? Which is better, or does it matter? tables I always use in percentages, but fonts?

Neither. Font sizes shouldn\'t be specified at all (so that the browser uses whatever the user preferred). If you have to set them, use percent or \"em\", as those will scale when the user prefers a larger or smaller font size (depending on eye sight). bye, Dirk
