Installation for Dummies

Is there a simpiler explination for installing geeklog? Also, it is possible to do part of the site out side of public_html and the other part in a section like publi_html/subsite

The installation doc is pretty simplistic. There not a whole to do. Copy files to your directories, create a new blank db, run install script. Yes you can install it a deeper sum directory.
