hi,
i've just come across with geeklog and started to play with it. i have some questions:
1. how can i customize whick blocks are shown or not by default. also how can i play with the box's html code. where should i look at?
2. i noticed that in some templates there are lots of whitespace. is this required to function correctly?
3. is there a list of all tags in one file for theme hacking?
4. in personalize section excluded items list is very long because it lists all authors. how about making it a link to a pop-up. if user wants to open it just click on it. also it even may be column-ized to save scroll.
thanks advance for answering them all.

1) You can't really set a default set of blocks - all the enabled blocks will be visible to all users. However, you can restrict blocks to be available for certain user groups only (by setting permissions accordingly).
To change the layout of the blocks, have a look at the blockheader.thtml and blockfooter.thtml files.
2) No, the whitespace is not required.
3) I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for, but the answer is probably "no" ...
4) Not sure if a dropdown (I guess you meant that instead of a popup) would be the best solution here, but, yes, this is something we need to look into. You may want to add that to our list of feature requests ...
bye, Dirk

3. i meant i'm going to create a skin from scratch and i want a list of all tags ({block} things) and out them where needed.
4. pop-up means that user list is now shown instead just a link is shown. and that link opens a pop-up.
