$ problem

Anonymous
Whenever I post an html story which include $, such as $12.99, the system loses some of the characters after the $ and I end up with 9.
I have done a temporary work around by putting a space after the $, such ast $ 12.99 instead of $12.99, but I was wondering if there is a real fix.
Any ideas.

My guess is you haven't upgraded to 1.3.6. We've addressed this problem there.---The reason people blame things on previous generations is that there's only one other choice.

It only seems to happen for submitted links (i.e. it's okay when the Admin enters the link description).
Can you submit that as a bug on the bug tracker, please?
bye, Dirk
