I have a nice short Domain and a webspace with PHP. Unfortunately not on the same Server. So I use a redirect of the Domain to the PHP-Server with GL.

But, when I use the short Domain as site_url, I can't login (error-page). When I use the long (real) Server-Domain, I have no problems, if I use this also as site_url. But all my visitor have to use it (bad).

So here is my question: Is it possible (how?) to go with a different URL than that in the site_url to the page?

It must have to do with the user.php or the session. But I am (unfortunately) no geek and can't fix it. (Now I use a bad JS-Redirection beside the Domains.)
