After a bit of GEEKING on //localhost when I return to a OSCommerce project also on //localhost strange things happen (well mainly the counts & item fetches in the catalog do not work).
After looking around at various PHP, MYSQL settings etc, just short of an OS reinstall I had a look in netscape and all was fine. Turns out that deleting the cookies stored for IE fixed things.
So that is the fix, but why the problem?
Any help appreciated.
