Parsing problems

My GL does not parse properly. Every page is being parsed with a \ in front of every ". Like this:
<META HTTP-EQUIV=\"Content-Type\" CONTENT=\"text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1\">
<META NAME=\"ROBOTS\" CONTENT=\"INDEX,FOLLOW\">
Therefore none of the links and img work. Any idea why this happens. It does not happen with phpbb which is installed on the same machine!
