Hi all
I have a little problem - I add events to the site calendar for some month ahead, but those events are not shown in What's New block - no calendar section there. Calendar config.php is default, so I don't know why that events are not shown. Can you help me please?

OK, thanks, found that
Another question - why does calendar use "strftime" in that phpblock_calendar? If you use that, it translates days/month to English and not to user's selected language... Month and days' names are translated in language files, so why not use them?

Make sure to set your locale (also in config.php) correctly and the month / day names should show up in your language.
But I have to agree: The calendar uses texts from the language files in some places but relies on the locale setting in others. That's inconsistent and should be cleaned up some day. It's especially awkward on multi-language sites.
bye, Dirk
