Gallery Questions: manage user and save() function error

I looked here and at the Gallery site for answers, but I haven't found anything useful yet.
1st problem: The [manage users] link does not appear on my Gallery homepage (http://www.shrednow.com/gallery) when I am logged in as Gallery admin. Any reason why this might happen?
2nd problem: I manually typed in the manage_users.php page and tried to authorize my Geeklog users to create photo albums. I got this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: save() in ...shrednow.com/gallery/modify_user.php on line 72
Any ideas why that might have happened?
3rd problem: Is there a way to set Gallery so my Geeklog users are automatically authorized to create photo albums?
