trying to upload / install plugins

Hi - i have just installed the latest version of Geeklog and an trying to upload the forum plugin and get the following error

E_WARNING(2) - mkdir(): File exists

Happens with other plugins too.

Does the forum folder already exist under the following directories:

public_html
/public_html/admin/plugins
/private_html/plugins/ (or where ever the private directory exists)

If they do then they need to be deleted first and then you can retry.

Since you are uploading the plugins Geeklog will need write permissions to those folders.

Another option is to manually FTP the forum files to the appropriate location under those folders.

Geeklog (the user the web service uses) will need "write" permissions to those folders. If not the extraction of files will error out as well.

Another option to install plugins is to manually FTP into the website and copy over the forum files to the appropriate location under those folders.
