Comments : score and reason fields

Can someone explain what the score and reason fields are made for in the comments table?

Good question (never noticed that before).

If I had to guess I would say the reason field was probably something to do with reporting a comment (I know work was being done on this at one point) but both of these don't seem to be in use right now.

A bug report should be made on this unless Dirk has any additional info on these fields.

They are unused and have been ever since I've joined the project. My guess has always been that they are leftovers from when Geeklog tried to be more like Slashdot.
