Hi,

I'm looking for a way to add this feature:
I want anonymous users can access to a list of documents, but need to be logged-in to download any of those documents.

Do you know an old plugin or tip to start with?

Thanks,

Ben

Nope, nothing comes to mind.

Maybe you could talk to Dengen to see if he can add the feature into his downloads plugin...

Idea I could also write a custom function to request the list of documents and make this list only available for anonymous.

Thanks for your reply.

filemngt plugin always had that functionality. Seems the downloads plugin would as well.
Also paypal plugin also works if you set price to $0

Please note that the File Management plugin will keep the files in a directory within the webroot. So if you know the URL, you can download the file, despite the limited access. It's not really secure in that regard.

bye, Dirk
