New Calendar?

Unless I am mistaken, I once saw where someone in the Google Summer of Code had created a new calendar with recurring events. Are there any plans to release this anytime soon?

It's a bit embarrassing. We have quite a few Summer of Code projects that are "finished" but not quite finished, i.e. polished enough to make it into Geeklog.
And for the Calendar, we wanted to take that opportunity to unbundle the Calendar plugin from Geeklog and instead provide it over the Plugin Repository - another GSoC project in a similar state ...
If you're feeling adventurous, the code is available here. The "gz" link will let you download it (or just clone the Mercurial repository).
I guess we could use a few people who are interested in those GSoC projects to help us make the final steps and release them or integrate them into Geeklog. Any volunteers?
bye, Dirk
