I find it annoying that when logged in as Admin I get links to all Admin functions in Admin Block but when I select Submissions the first thing I see is a load of icons duplicating the function of the Admin Block. Is it possible to configure Geeklog without all these redundant icons?

In your theme, edit admin/moderation/moderation.thtml and remove everything in it. The template library requires that the file contains something, so leave a   or an HTML comment.

That will get rid of the icons, but still display a (now empty) "Command and Control" block. To get rid of that, you would have to edit admin/moderation.php

Great improvement, much easier to check submissions without loads of scrolling. Thanks a lot Dirk, perhaps this could become standard!

This should be easy enough to implement as a config option. Submit a feature request.
