I have that problem too.
It is when root give Story-admin permission to an user.
Then when the user send a Story and, later, try to edit it, the system show that error.

Found it, thanks.
This only happens when Geeklog tries to display a message telling the user that they don't have access to edit the story. Please also see Setting up a Story Admin.
