The pool is displaying the total number of votes not the total number of voters How can I fix this?

I wanted to say POLL

You can only vote once in a poll, it places a cookie and remembers the voters ip-address for (I believe) a month, so the number of votes and voters can't be very much different.

my polls haveeach more questions
so where is supposed to display the number of how many people voted it shoes me a sum of the total votes for each individual question

Do you mean that if your poll has 2 questions with, let's suppose 50 and 25 votes, it shows 75 votes on both questions? The systems counts the votes, and not the voters indeed, but what should that matter? A poll is just to indicate what your visitors think or mean, not a complete scientific survey.
