I have recently installed the forum module and it has been working out fairly well for me except for one thing. I have 3 forums set up and when someone (I'm the worst offender so far) posts in the wrong forum, how do I move it to the correct forum?

Go to the first post in the topic. Note that the dropdown has a "Move Topic" option - use that.

You need to be a moderator in that forum (even when you're the site's Admin user). See the Forum settings in your Admins Only block.
