hi , I have upgarded my wifes portal to geeklog 1.4.1 by using the fantastico upgrade feature (big mistake).
since the upgrade the FCKeditor is not working as well.
i made an upgrade and still nothing changed.

I have installed previously a forum plugin which didnt work out so much for me as well.
I have garden template installed with a very little modifications.

the client side error i get is "geeklogeditorbaseurl is undefined"
i reserched this and it seems the fck editor url is configured ok.

can you please try and help.

Fantastico normally keeps a sort of backup of the old version at least of the MySQL. If you find that you can restore the whole stuff manually.

As for the FCKeditor just download Geeklog from here and copy over the subdirectory of FCKeditor: http://www.geeklog.net/filemgmt/index.php?id=803

The forum plugin won`t work anylonger if you upgraded automatically.

What other plugins are we talking about :

i managed to fix the FCK editor - some template errors.

\what should i do with the forum , reinstall it?

Have there been postings on the forum which you want to save?

Maybe try the same just download the forum plugin and copy over the files.
