Hey
Upon installing the cvs I get an error on the success page, db seems to be created fine.
Error is:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1. SQL in question: SELECT * FROM
PHP Version: 5.2.4
MySQL Version: 4.1.22-standard
Web Server: Apache v2.0.61
Can anyone point me to a solution?

Is this a fresh install or an upgrade?

Works for me (upgrade and fresh install). What happens when you go to the site's front page?
Make sure you really updated all the files.
bye, Dirk

Since it didnt work from a fresh install either it would point to a server configuration issue rather than files not being overwritten, Have even deleted the account on the server and recreated another one, hence insuring no files remained.

Hmm. Could you try changing the error_reporting lin in lib-common.php to read
Then call up your site again and see if it throws any errors.

Text Formatted Code
error_reporting( E_ALL );Then call up your site again and see if it throws any errors.

FWIW, I've now gone ahead and updated one of my sites to Geeklog 1.5. No apparent problems.
