"Word Count"

Hi to all ,
I am using geeklog 1.4.1. I want to disapear the word count which coming after the "read more" link for the story, but i unable to disapear or delete it. Please help me for that.

As far as I understand a hack of the lib-common is required:

Taken into account that there has been a request for removing the word count but not the read more link, shouldn`t it become a variable in the config settings?
