Hello all,

I would like to run geeklog on a closed intranet. Is there a way using the links section of geeklog to link to local or mapped drive locations? it seems to strip off file://

thank you for your help!

I don't know if this will work but try adding 'file' to $_CONF['allowed_protocols']. That opens a huge security hole but on an intranet that might be okay.

Yeah, that should work. The submitted links are run through COM_sanitizeUrl() which checks them against the list of allowed protocols from config.php

bye, Dirk
