Story Submission Problems After Updating

Upgraded shrednow.com from 1.3.9 to 1.4.1 today. Overall things went smoothly, however the first two problems have emerged that I can't figure out:
1. Stories aren't submitting. I type in the story as usual. Neither Preview or Submit works. Both lead back to the story listings.
2. The time setting within the story submission form 9 hours in the past. The time stamp on the homepage is correct.
Story submissions worked flawlessly as recently as Friday, so I'm assuming this has something to do with the upgrade.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Are you using the default Professional theme that came bundled with the install? If not, that could be your problem, as the coding within the new 1.4.x series has changed. Try the Professional theme and see how it works and if the problems go away. If they do, feel free to go over to demo.geeklog.net to look for an updated version or one that comes close to your tastes and download it.

Not using the profeesional theme, as I've used a customized theme for four years now. Looks like I'll have to make some tweaks to it if that's the cause of this problem.
EDIT: By copying the files from Profesional into my existing theme, I was able to solve the problem. Now I'm just reconstructing my preferred colors/layout from there. Thanks for your help!

Don't forget to copy over all the images, including the png's, to their proper locations.

Thanks. I basically copied over every file from Professional with the exception of a few custom layouts I had. Then, I compared those isolated files and changed them accordingly. There are still some inconsistencies in the look of the various pages, but he functionality seems to be all there. I appreciate the quick responses.
