What and where are the title tags, etc...being called from, and how would I edit them?

Be more specific. What title tags? Also be sure to look at Where can I change the text ...?.

I'm referring to the title tags on the main page...(up at the top of the browser window) Where are they being called from?

header.thtml is used for all of Geeklog's pages. I wouldn't bother with meta tags, but if you want, add them there.

Not sure what you mean by "new title" - the page title changes dynamically, so there's nothing for you to edit there.
