carlslateproject.com - Distributing Music with Geeklog
C.S.P invites you to visit www.carlslateproject.com
The site is designed and managed by OpenTechWorld.com and proud to be powered by Geeklog and MediaGallery.
To “Hear†Geeklog in action, click in the “Listen Online†block located on the right side of the page after you enter the site.
On the surface, the music is simple, melodic and melancholy, but underneath, lies a deep body of abstract vision that is sometimes delusional, and sometimes prophetic. The words and music paint a complex emotional landscape which depicts love, hate, pain, sadness, joy, desperation and hope.
The objective of the web site is to promote the music and continued college education of Carl M. Slate II, the composer, lyricist, performer and musical mind behind C.S.P. Carl M. Slate II is a sophomore at Radford University in the state of Virginia, and he is the son of Carl M. Slate, principal of OpenTechWorld. We now have full disclosure. ;-)
www.carlslateproject.com uses Geeklog and MediaGallery to deliver and play mp3’s to the web clients desktop. The implementation does not allow downloads of the sound file to the client’s computer storage (although there probably is a way to save the file from cache). If a user wants the actual sound files, a CD is available from the website.
We hope you enjoy www.carlslateproject.com and that it inspires your implementation of Geeklog.
