Hi all,

I have a forum on my site that can be found here: http://www.ai-tools.org/forum/index.php?&forum=1.

As you can see, many of the subjects are trimmed down, so that you can't actually see what the subject is. Where is this trimming controlled? I'd like to be able to set the length of the subject to a more reasonable length.

Actually, to be a little more specific, I notice that the subject is trimmed in three separate places: The 'What's New' section of my homepage (http://www.ai-tools.org), the Forum index (linked above), and at the top of individual posts (eg. http://www.ai-tools.org/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=123). Are they all controlled in different places? I like the trimmed subject in the 'What's New' section, and see that it is trimmed differently, so figure that it must be controlled on a different line, which suits my purposes completely.

Thanks for any help or advice!

Sam

You can change the max. length of a topic in the Admin's forum settings. Not sure for which parts of the forum it applies, though (probably all of them).

bye, Dirk

*slaps self on head*

I thought that was the maximum length the title could be, not the max length shown. And yes, there are different sections that you can change the length of the title independently.

Thanks!
Sam
