Whena user goes to contribute the Rich Text editor comes up fine.
However The post style PLAIN OLD TEXT or HTML are the only Choices ?
I would like the Rich Text Editor to be the default ?
It does not show up in the drop down menu is this OK ?

When FCKeditor is enabled, HTML mode means to use the "rich text editor".
