MySQL error when attempting o use the geeklog Mail function

hi, I receivedthe following error when I sent emails:

Wed 20 Sep 2006 19:52:09 EDT - 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query. SQL in question: UPDATE gl_vars SET value = value + 1 WHERE name = 'totalhits'

 


The emails still appear to be sent, but I am unsure as to why this error is coming up. PLease help, and thanks in advance

Sounds like an unfortunate coincidence. You usually get that message when MySQL crashes or is restarted in the middle of an SQL request.
