howdy,

i am trying to install geeklog 1.4 for the first time.
installation is not system wide, it's a site on hosting server (mine, so i have root).

when i run check.php it produces an error:

all my sites are owned by $admin:$site, where $admin=site administrator, and $site=corresponding site. those are default working permissions and they work OK for other sites.

after checking lib-common.php i suspected i need to set different permissions on non-public dirs/files of geeklog, don't i?

i need your help in setting correct permissions.

You probably didn't set the permissions on the actual .log files.
