Hello All,
I have been hit a rash of spamming recently. One night while I was cleaning up the mess I started banning the ip address and disabled the comments from the config.php. file. I just checked and had another spammer. Is there a way to disable comments altogether? No one can leave comments, not members, not admins, no one. Thanks for the help.

You can disable comments for each story (separately) in the Admin's story editor. If you want to disable all comments on all your stories, you could use a simple SQL request to do that.
There's also a config.php option, $_CONF['comment_code'], where you can set the default value for all future stories.
bye, Dirk
